Just got back from running to 4 different stores trying to find Neosporin without the pain reliever added. Jeesh... I'll apply some and see how that goes.

It's Sunday...and where I am located, Sunday is the Lord's Day and businesses are closed. I was left with mini-markets. They don't carry gereric items. I'm lucky they carried Neosporin that wasn't out-dated. LolTriple antibiotic ointment is the same generic as neosporin.
depending on who you talk to some peeps are saying that is safe. Not sure about the eye though.I have 3 tubes of Neosporin here at the house...not one is without pain reliever.
Just about every wound thread I've read that mentions Neosporin, specifies the non-pain relief stuff. So I went out on a quest today and fetched some regular stuff. Rather be safe than sorry...depending on who you talk to some peeps are saying that is safe. Not sure about the eye though.
Yes, the only chick with a boo boo. He/she is acting normal. Poop is like the others, appetite is good and drinking water. Scratching around the run like it's his/her job.Eh.. Even though I’m kinda new, I’d keep a eye out for infection if it doesn”t go away in 4 or less days. Is it the only one with that? It could be a peck wound or something in its eye.
I'll keep a look for hardened puss. I have very little sense of smell, so the smelling avenue is pretty useless.Ya, me too especially when it comes to the eye. I hope it helps. Keep an eye out for bubbles in the eye , a bad smell, anything that signals infection. Chicken puss is hard and has to be removed by hand. Since yours came over night I dont think thats what this is but just so you know to look for it.
