Eye Problem in new rooster

I recently bought a blue splash orpington from a 4-H animal auction. He seems to be an older chicken, his spurs are huge and his comb seems to have taken alot of beatings from winter frostbite. I wanted to ask about his eyes. His eyes look like the irises take up alot more of the eye than they should- there is still white, but not much. He seems to see ok, and is very healthy otherwise, I just wanted to know what this might be. I have him seperated from the rest of the flock incase it is a disesase or something. anyone have any idea what this is? thanks!*edited for pics*
