Eyes closing and noises?

I attached a video here of my black star pullet behaving oddly. She was definitely distressed that I was picking her up but also started closing her eyes? There are lots of bird sounds in the background but I think you can tell which is coming from her (around 0:09)- kind of a shrill ongoing chirp every so often. What does this sound/behavior mean?

Is she acting fine when you are not holding her?

She's not liking being held, closing the eyes she's stressed, the noise is she's not liking being held either.

She may be one that is just not up for much handling/cuddling.
