"Yes, please." Duck said eagerly. He trotted over to Fern and peered down at a chick with the most prettiest eyes ever. It reminded him of the bird in his mother's story's. "What's her name?" Duck asked curious.

“Moon. Isn’t she sweet?”

Duck looked down at her and was captured in her golden eyes. He couldn't look away.

Ruby left her egg behind and she walked out of the burrow. She started to do the egg call and looked back to see if Percy was following.

Percy followed Ruby and started doing the same call.

Splash went back to her burrow with her chicks following her. She sat back down in her nest and let the chicks run under her. @Animal_Lover4444

Dew ran back under her mother. She cheeped loudly.

Duck was mesmerized by her bright gold depths. Her silver feathers captured the shadows perfectly, explaining her name.

Eerie pushed hard, gasping from the effort. “What color do you think it’ll be? I think white, like my mother laid. But a tan would be nice, too.”

Percy followed Ruby and started doing the same call.

Ruby chuckled during her egg call then flew out to the clearing. She kept on doing the egg call.
