Another flock if birds flew by and she sprang from the cave without thinking, taking one down with a clumbsy swipe. She landed awkwardly and tore into the bird with quick, famished bites until nothing was left. She swallowed the last peice and looked around for a stream to wash it down it. Hobbling over on her short, stubby legs she plunged her snout in and drank for several moments. Once she was done she cast a guilty look up towards the cave and started walking back over, catching a scrauny mouse on the way.

"I guess it is, you should come by sometime! Pet my carpet.... Gosh, that sounded really weird didn't it?"

"Yes..." She said, cocking her head to the side slightly "That would be interesting"

 

[Gerbil]

Milo crossed his eyes, "Well, I believe I have embarrassed, endangered and starved myself enough today. I am going to go now, eat some leftovers, pet my carpet, go to sleep, etc"

"No, no, its ok" She laughed, patting him on the back "See ya round!"

"That's good to know," she replied to the chick, smiling.

Xene suddently noticed Apollo swooning over her for a moment and let out a silent giggle, but then leaned down to take a sip of the crisp and cool water.

"Yep, same, ye" he mumbled on for a while longer before taking off towards the woods.

She shook her head slowly in amusment before parting in the opposide direction

She bumped into a towering figure of pure ebony, the greenish claws on one foot tapping. Venom looked down at her, "What were you doing?" he asked, his olive tongue flicking as he grinned broadly.

She backed up into a thorn bush, wincing as the thorns cut into her scales. Pressing herself to the ground in fear she replied "I-I was h-hungry sir"
