F2s on Jubilee Orpington project - Progress PICS on pg 1 & 2

They are all from the same breeding, so I'm not sure why some are brown and some are striped. Same rooster over 4 hens. Could one of the hens have caused this?

Jody, your project posts and pictures are a lot like I envision talking and visiting with Willie Wonka about Candy and Chocolate would be- very, very enjoyable and boy do you get us imagining and dreaming. Wonka vision could shorten a large breed to Bantam conversion couldn't it. Keystonepaul

Thanks guys!

Paul, I never thought of it like Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, but it surely is so much fun. lol Ooh, what I could do with Wonka Vision.

I expect it could just as easily be from a female as a male. A closer pic or some info about what was in them would be needed in order to be able to ascertain their possible genotype.

Dang, IF crossin a Red Speckled Sussex and Buff Orp makes birds like this, I might want to give Little T-REX a new job

Have fun with it. I bet they will be super friendly birds too. Sussex have great personalities and can only add to the wonderful temperament of an Orp in a cross. I'm really liking how those youngsters look.
