Fainting goats anyone??

Actually, People can have the same "condition", but it is rare. I would have no other goats other than my fainters - they are so sweet and hilarious all at the same time

I have friends with other breeds and they aren't nearly as friendly, despite the amount of time they spend with them. Next one I get is gonna be a long haired fainter... Just saw them the other day - very cool! Thanks for sharing your pics

Soooo Cute! I want more....maybe I'll look for a long haired one next. My other goats are boers. They are friendly too but I do have a soft spot fro my fainters. My husband says the soft spot is between my ears.

Its nice having a polled buck but also not so nice. I decided when I started looking either polled or disbudded. I don't care how well you raise any animal. A hormonal un altered male of any species can be unpredictable. There fore I voted that no horns would be nice incase he decided to be raging hormonal towards me. I don't need to get gored in the leg/butt/whatever else he could reach.

On the flip side its not so great beings polled to polled breeding aren't recommended by some people. Therefore I have to watch what I breed him too. I think it would have been easier to have a disbudded buck and find polled does but we'll see how this works out. I'm hoping Gus has Laila bred already right now. Should know in another month or so I figure. I'm hoping to add maybe 4 more does to my herd this coming year. I love fainters. I want a red so bad. Gus's father was a tri colored red. Beautiful guy. Had I known they were going to end up selling him a few months after I got Gus I may have waited for him.
