Well, you know you can buy boxes that are double the size of the single N.E.S.T. boxes? Those boxes are cheaper than 2 of the singles and would be the same as using 2 taped together.

I'm gonna keep shipping them taped together till they tell me not to. And THEN I will ask them why when they do. To me a box is a box even if two taped together. BUT if they WONT let me tape them I will just get a bigger box and with a little duct tape and extra cardboard .Tada two boxes inside of one. Problem solved easily. Ill jury rig anything to save on shipping cost.

AND GOD HAVE THE PRICES GONE UP EVEN FARTHER NOW!

Horizons are all I use. Thats what I taped together. I will use the bigger horizon box and make 2 or four compartmants out of it. I have did it before. Maybe you misunderstand me. or I should have said approved usps boxes sorry.

ETA: This one has horizon boxes for pretty cheap, though it doesn't say what the shipping is. Either of these would work for those of us that ship once in a blue moon

USPS sucks big time, always has, but bad times, caught with them + internet, and other carriers competition.

They've been forced to fire tons of their workers and closing many offices.

USPS MAY suck. Maybe YOUR post office sucks too!!! BUT mine dont, I personally love my post office here and the people in it. They are very helpful and lots of times I open the boxes (that I recieve) and they love seeing the birds. I dont know of anyone happy with government institutions. You will see me -itch when I dont have a post office for shipping needs.

I don't believe this. Did they show you the regulation in print? If it's not in print it's not real.

There is a size limit on boxes, but usually the rate increases due to the number of inches the box takes up. But telling you that you cannot tape two boxes together is BS!
