I think the USPS does a great job most of the time, some trouble with eggs i think come from Automation. I know depend where my eggs go some boxes better shape than other, still if packed right eggs are recieved unbroken.

Repeat , repeat, repeat,............double box.....heck boxes free anyway

About a month ago I had a customer walk out the door to a soaking wet box with tire marks, only a few were broken, but he only had like 10 out of 50 hatch...

Yes even the way i pack ,none have been broken, but the hatch rate will be hurt in most cases. Hell peafowl and turkey eggs not easy for newbe anyway.

I am just glad we still can ship birds......watch out for PETA ...

2 boxes taped together from Wisconsin so they BSn somebody
I asked the guy about it and he told me they didnt say a word and took em right in

I was the same way when they told me that I can't ship eggs priority mail after they had been checked by another employee. Long story short I got my money back for the eggs, shipping, and a new box for the next shipment. It took a lot of raisin cane, but I got er done for sure. Now that lady runs from me whenever I walk in the door, I saw her leaving work one time and she took off flyin out of that parking lot. Almost hit the fence, I have that affect on some people.

It would be more like $290--2 boxes, at least $100 per box

Hopefully they can find a ride, I think I've got one lined up but I'm not sure yet. Otherwise I guess I'm stuck with them til auction time. Sucks, I doubt I'll get as much for them at auction.
