lol Your box couldn't have held any more eggs, I don't think, with the neighbor's in there too. You can always get more later.

It was pretty full, and if I would have known she was going to abuse her embryos, I wouldn't have said anything to her and just got more for myself.

Or make the drive up for chicks or eggs. lol

If I don't end up with a chocolate cockerel and pullet one of those things is definitely happening

Hatching should start on Wednesday after I get off work!

So far Cheese is holding strong, and a second Cornish bantam has joined that nest, so foster options are looking good so far.

Is the weather good enough in Montana to risk fostering them?

It's pretty nice right now. Super high 50s to low 70s. I just have to see how many hatch to know if I need one or two broodies. Apart from the weird snow flakes in the rain yesterday, we haven't had snow since the last day of April I think.

I don't even mind going outside in a sweatshirt now, and that says a lot about the weather
