Candled tonight, removed the chocolate quitter and a bbs, they were very evident at this point. Still rocking it out with 2 chocolate and 5 bbs along with 12 of my blue and blacks. All in all quite happy

I'm hoping there's more than that.Hey everyone! Please excuse my absence as I’ve been going through some sh*t lately. I just put my eggs on lockdown last night and am hoping for 2 BBS to hatch by Friday or Saturday.
I have never had a chick break their leg on the turner in the NR360. It's off.I didn't want someone getting stuck and breaking a leg.
I've had a couple get their leg stuck and then start panicking. Usually I'm able to hurry up and fix it, but I didn't want to risk it while being gone most of the day.I have never had a chick break their leg on the turner in the NR360. It's off.
I had 5 eggs left in the incubator…3 BBS and 2 Chocolate. I took out one of the BBS eggs that had quit for sure and the chocolate eggs looked like they had quit as well but I left them in there just in case. I’m only expecting the 2 BBS to hatch.I'm hoping there's more than that.
Meh. If they are that dumb, I'm not a proponent of reverse Darwinism...survival of the most idiotic. Still, I've never had one get stuck. Not that there is any room for them to get a leg under it with the grippy shelf liner I use.I've had a couple get their leg stuck and then start panicking.
