Fall 2013 Carolina Chickenstock

This was my 1st time at Chickenstock and had a great time. I found a great home for one of my birds, and bought 2 pullets and a handsome chicken carrier! Thanks everyone who made this great day possible! Can't wait till the next one. Already starting a list for next year; hope to find one of those great Green cages everyone was displaying their birds in! Those were cool! Again Thanks!

theoldchick, great photos and narrative!
I still am unpacking everything and will upload some of my photos later.
I came home to tons of chores as the birds that stayed home were upset that my daughter doesn't give them the attention that I do. Feeding and watering is a minor part of all I do.
I am still exhausted from all the fun I had at CS! What a perfect day!

Awesome pictures everyone :D had an incredible day. Came home with nearly everything on my list. Saw some pretty birds and hung with great friends, and made some new ones. My mother did fairly well with artwork. And I did okay with birds sales, not nearly as good as I hoped. But I was just glad I got to go :D.

Here are photos of some of my lovelies that I got:
Chicken Pot Pie, my lovely Blue Laced Red wyandotte from Chickennugget. Thank you so much for allowing me to get her :) she is settling in nicely. (She is nibbling on the pellets before I had a chance to add water and make it a mash) she laid me a lovely brown egg while waiting in her box)

Also came home with some lovely cochins from West Knol Farm, they wouldn't settle long enough to get a picture, but they are beautiful!

Also made off with some gorgeous colored EEs.

Hi Meredith!

It was nice meeting you on Sat. I am so glad you are happy with Chicken Potpie, and that she is settling in at her new home. Loved to see a picture of her too. I hope soon she will find a new friend, as she had to say good bye to her friend who stayed with me. Give her a pat for me. I feel so good that she has found a new home with you.-C.

It was a great day!! Loved meeting everyone and visiting with others I had met before. I think Greg and I did pretty well, sold 4 birds and came home with 6... so much for cutting back lol Here are some of my pictures from Saturday!
