Eye keeps spasming from the scratch on the cornea. Bad Kelly! So ridiculous, being pecked by Ruth I can understand, but unplugging something? That’s just plain ridiculous! I really need to wear safety goggles I guess.

Meanwhile current temps/conditions are:

-2C and light freezing rain. Ice pellets mixed in. Damp dreary weather.

Todays delights are eyeballs - yummy!

Actually it’s raw carrots, yesterday was a head of cabbage. This time around it always an electrical plug that got my eye, unplugged the sweeter heater and ‘boink’ stabbed my eye as the plug flipped back.

Have any of you seen the Netflix movie "Becky"? We just watched it last night and wish we wouldn't have. But there's an eyeball part in there.

Thank you - frustrating and I am such a moron at times! But eyes heal pretty fast. At least it wasn't a chick trying to munch on my eyeball this time hahaha!

Thanks for asking, it's better now - eye drops and relaxing helped.

So glad that the weather was overcast and dreary, bright sunshine would have done me in I think! hahaha - only time I have been glad for freezing rain

Current temp is -1C (31F) and mix of freezing rain and ice pellets, supposed to turn over to heavy flurries overnight and then tomorrow rain. Might as well through in a tsunami in this mix we seem to be getting everything else!

Under two alerts, 1 for freezing rain, and the other for heavy snow (shocker isn't it...).

What is this word 'sun' I see on Thursday - I am unfamiliar with that concept, is it something I may have experienced in the past? Hmmm wonder what 'sun' is?

Our freezing rain didn't stop MB from being the only one, besides the ducks, to venture out and stand there, apparently enjoying being pelted with microscopic hail.

I need to show this picture to our flock! It's supposed to rain tomorrow and they're all going to loudly complain at not getting out into the turnout pens, but they refuse to go if it's wet. Desert chickens!
