I've been looking at fabric for this swap and I came to ask a question, but I see it's been answered. I was wondering if the fabric should be solids or could have prints. I might have missed that in the guidelines.
Anyway, sounds like we'll have a beautiful assortment of fall colors and prints for the quilt.

chicken women, I've never heard of the color block sheets you mentioned. Where can I find these?

Good idea Prairie girl, make you some autumn colored blocks anyway and if you dont end up gettting in this swap near the end when someone likely will drop out, then you can use them in the Block of the Month swap, sign up about 3 times a month and you'll have them gone and hopefully some nice ones returned!

I am really looking forward to this swap...........Fall colors are my favorite colors. I have one color so far for my calico block just need to get the "focal" color.

I, too, have dark red, gold and a print w/complimentary colors.

Hopefully, I can get a block or two done this weekend to make sure I haven't lost the knack. It's been a while since I pieced but if it makes anyone feel better I'm particular about my points!

There have been a couple folks with issues that took them out of the BYCville swap in case anyone is interested in getting in on that one. I think the psot office block is open and a chicken block, maybe even a house block..check the thread if interested..thanks!! Darlene

I am doing the bow tie block. I can't believe I missed the thread on here, I signed up thru the quilted rooster.

I am planning on doing 4 bow tie blocks in one 12 1/2 in square, is that ok with everyone. I am planning on using 4 multi colored fall fabrics for the bow tie part and the same back ground around the bow tie for all of the 4 blocks. I will see how that works before I do them all.


Does anyone know of a site to use to post my pics on here other than photobucket because that site just plain old hates me.
