Actually, it's just the white stripes that give it the summery look. I have seen a lot of fall fabrics with the same shade of purple and the other colors.

I'm not liking the sample block I made this morning.
I'll have to shop for something different. I'm hoping I can find some inspiration with some different fabric. I just wish I didn't have to go out of town to find fabric. Maybe I can take a trip tomorrow.

Wow, Scrambled! What a nice block - great print and colors, too.

I just got home from my trip to the fabric store. I got 3 new Fall color pieces. I hope to get them washed, dried, and ironed so I can do some sewing tonight.

Something came over me today while shopping. I'm always very frugal, always watching each penny, look twice to make sure I really want/need the item, but not today. I spent more than ever on fabric. I got some great deals on some really nice quality fabric, but gosh, it wasn't me doing the shopping. KWIM??? It's not like I don't have a rather large stash already.
I best get sewing....

Oh, good thing I went shopping before I stopped for gas as it went up 26 cents in 2 hours here. Yikes! $2.75

Guess we will have to stay at home and garden,take care of chickens and SEW !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That way we won't be using gas !!!
