Let's just say that seven months out from surgery, DH still has some rough days. While he was in the hospital, I was able to knit and crochet all the grandchildren hats and scarves. Quilting has become the activity during his recovery here at home....a most enjoyable and fulfilling activity.

NanaKat I can totally relate to your DH. I had 4 major surgeries from October of 2007 till December 2008. Recovery is very slow and I still have a set back now and then. If he listens to his body it will tell him too much stop. Problem is that I have always been hard of hearing LOL.

Keeping you both in my prayers because you sure can't be having much fun listening to his frustration in having to take it easy.

Scrambled still have legs and eyes LOL man I may just have to send these chickens blind and crippled LOL kidding. Hope this weekend slows down so I can get something done around here. Been gone all week watching a 2 year old great nephew, he is busy but fun. Not as busy as my 2 year old grandson, Arcamedias never slows down, has only 2 buttons fast and sleep LOL.

YIPPEE I've finished the blocks!!!!!
I thought I was finished last night and was going to take them to the postoffice this morning....but being a little particular, I gave them one more once over and found three that were 1/4 inch too small on one side.....I made new ones this morning.

Here is a photo of all 20, but I'm not sending the red one to the middle right...it is a little uneven. The pattern is called Cake Plate.

I'll get these in the mail Tuesday. Hubby has a treadmill stress test scheduled on Monday.

Then I get to start a quilt for a new grandbaby soonn to arrive in September!

My granddaughter turned 8 yesterday and my daughter gave me some silk fabric and wants me to make a dress for her. I need to have it done by tomorrow. I could

her. She gave me no pattern so I'm working on my own.
