Fall colors block swap/Quilted Rooster Yahoo group *full*

The blocks that have come so far look great. I have some of mine done, but not all. In the beginning of July I will send out reminders to all participants reminding them tht there is only a month and a half left. The due date is pretty firm. If anybody decides to be a no show, they will be banned from any swaps I host. Of course there are always exceptions for extreme circumstances, but that would be rare in this case because the swap has so much time on it.

I just put mine in the mail at the post office in Meeker. I'll be interested in seeing how long it takes to get to you.

Our post lady agreed that it is their policy to have people put stamps on their return package envelope rather than a meter sticker. That's because there is sometimes a difference in weight.
Course it was funny that the envelope with the blocks weighed the same as the envelope with the blocks AND the return envelope.....go figure.

Now it's time to work on a baby quilt for a soon-to-come new grandson!!

I'm still here, a little busy, and I better get to work more on my blocks. I am making the middle part and I would like some opinions on how you think the sides would look the best. So I will take some pics of two different ways and you can all decide for me if you don’t mind.

I know what's going to happen, I will be the last one done in July and feel like I'm so late.

Have tried several times today to upload a pic to photobucket but to no avail. Dial-up stinks. I guess everyone will have to wait to see the blocks when they get them.

I haven't uploaded pics in the 2 months since my dog ate my camera stuff, but I always had trouble with photobucket anyway..likely them as much or more than your dialup Leeps. Maybe Nifty can figure a way to link pics off our computer in the future, sure would be easier.

I like seeing the blocks before we get them, I can put a quilt together in my mind. hehe

Hope you get photobucket figured out. somewhere on the forum there is a tutorial for photobucket. Now where is that thing........scratches head

I'm not sure if this link will work, but I'll try.
It explains using photobucket.

I'm still around, just not on the computer. The garden, family, cooking, animals, laundry and cleaning and everything else we all do has kept me extra busy. Then, I had to throw in some painting and sewing/quilting.
It's a rainy dreary day here so I'll work up another sample today. I picked up another piece of fabric Monday that I think will look nice with the others for this block.

So ginbart, you aren't the last one. I seem to be lagging behind everyone. I'm not worried (not yet).......I'll catch up.
