Yes we are talking 12 inch squares. I think most would work very well, the only one I'd be on the fence about would be the blue/purple, on my monitor it reads more spring, but that could just be how the color photographs and the effects of the monitor.

I agree and don't intend to use that one. Probably won't use the other either. Only if I can think of a pattern they will work with.

Fall = apples, leaves, pumpkins, corn stalks, Halloween.

Varagaited yarns can be tricky, either work really well or ........................................

but when they do work they are cool.

Red Hearts with Love brand in the color chocolate. This yarn has a rich brown color that should work w/ all the fall colors and has a great

You've got "With Love" in the name but all I found in the "Red Heart" is "soft". Chocolate. Art. E728 9344. Since this is a "no dye lot" color all the skeins have the same numbers even though they were bought at two different stores.

I took my coupons from the Sunday paper and used those. EXCEPT A.C. Moore has it on sale for $2.72, so the coupon was no good there.

I then went to Michael's and used the A.C. Moore coupon there, but the Michael's yarn was $4.99 and even with their coupon of 40% off more than A.C. Moore. So I gave their coupon to a lady there.

I also went to Hobby Lobby, but they don't carry the Red Heart soft. They do carry Vanna's choice so I got a nice pumpkin color in that.

I hope I got the right color brown. I will go to Jo Anne's tomorrow.

These stores will except their competitors coupons but may not be a savings, like Michaels wasn't.

Here is a pic of the label.

Sorry for the hard time finding it, I thought I had picked a pretty universal one.

Going "to town" today to get some yarn for the swap. I actually live in a town, but have to go about 50 miles to reach a town that has a store w/ yarn in it, other then the 4 colors Wally world is still selling in yarn

Oh my, same problem here! Nearest is 30 miles away! Gas prices are horrible, the things we'll do for yarn!!

I believe Joanns carrys this yard and you might be able to get free shipping. If they don't offer it, ask them if they will ship for free and they may make an exception. What't the worst that can happen they say no? I'm headed there today.

Now for me? If someone can't get the yarn to do the border, I'm willing to accept your squares.
