Fall crochet block swap, sign ups until Oct 15th

My MIL just left, she loved seeing all the pics of the blocks, I showed her the pics of the previous swap too, so she could see others are/have done traditional granny squares. I also showed her SunnyDawns cool applique work to jazz up a more simple block if she wanted to experiment, gave her some ideas. She is sooooo excited already thinking about how she is going to assemble her afghan.

I just came back from Michaels, I purchased the only 'chocolate' they had in Red Heart. Its the Red Heart Soft....please tell me this is the right one?? I even had the sales lady helping! lol

I am worried this is t it because the instructions did not mention Red Heart Soft and they had nothing called Red Heart Love?

I haven't seen the Red heart soft chocolate, so don't know how close in color it is. I think someone earlier in the thread had brought it up, and I looked for it in my area to see how close it was, but never did find that color and type.

Ok, I looked online just now...looks like it is in fact a different color going by the images. I think I am going to have to order that, I've never sent it before. Now I'm curious to see what it feels like!

I'm not sure if it is new or not. I found it at my Wal Mart which is a poo dunk small (not super center). When I chose it I figured if my tiny wal mart had it, it could be found about anywhere.

Well what is crazy is, I live in a large city and you would think we would carry all sorts of yarm here. But the Michaels here is awful as far as yarn goes...but I went because I had a coupon for it. I knew I should have went to AC Moore. I will check them out tomorrow then.
