Home safe and sound, all the animals were fine, and very happy to see us.

I finished all the crochet on all my blocks, but still have the hand tree work to go, and of course securing and triming tails.

smkchicks, recieved your blocks, they are beautiful, I opened them while over at my mil, Judy, who is in the swap to and we were just ohhhing and ahhhing each new baggie. Oh and cute sticker. Thanks

Wow, finished AND mailed? That is impressive! I still have to tag mine and find bags. What do you suggest?

One gallon zip lock bags seem to work well. Last swap I put a piece of masking tape on and wrote my name on that, but smkchicks just wrote right on the bag w/ a marker and that worked well too.

There was some discussion and worry earlier that some peoples bright color choices might not work well w/ some of the other darker (browner) color choices, so I thought I would post a pic of smkchicks blocks she just sent b/c she skillfully combined both color options in the same blocks and they look wonderful, so no worries about colors not working together.

Thanks for all the kind words about my work. I'm not used to holding it up for the world to see! Usually, my projects are given to people who love me (I hope) so I never get an honest appraisal.

I am also excited to see the blankets all put together. I keep changing my mind about where I'm going to put mine!!
