Falling Down Heights, my daily life

If you find them, let me know! We'll arrange for a select group of us to colonize the area!

Already had a power flicker just a few moments ago. I am seriously worried. At least I have a full propane tank in case I have to use the stove to keep warm.
Wonderful you have propane, at least you could stay somewhat warm! ❤️

Well, it was needed. Power was out for over three hours. This wind storm isn't done yet though, so keeping my fingers crossed that it stays on.

I went out to give the birds their afternoon feed and the chickens are all huddled in their coops, so I decided to put them to bed early. With their food.

Ducks were being idiots and were outside, so I'll plop them in bed at their usual time around sunset.

Oh, and Rudy laid another egg. That's two days in a row. I hope she doesn't become a daily layer.

Of course it snowed overnight!!! :barnie

Frigid out there, -18 with wind chill still at -27. They can wait a bit longer to come out, both for their well-being and mine.

Forecast is for periods of snow every day for the rest of the week. *sigh*

Found this nice little documentary from the late '50s.
