Falling Down Heights, my daily life

Pics
ALL MONTH!!!

Then of course there's the mosquitoes all summer. May is Hell Month out here. Blackflies during the day, skeeters at dusk/dawn/night.

I'll be stark raving mad by the end of the month!
:hugs

Better than the 3 Eurovision songs I’ve seen so far 😅
It's an old Canadian folk song. The National Film Board (NFB) has a bunch of them. Love these kinds of songs!

They also have amazing shorts, like The Great Snit. Look it up if you want a chuckle!

INCOMING FLOOD OF PICTURES!!!

Going to try to sell them online before the livestock sale next weekend, so took a bunch of pics.

It's amazing how much faster chicks develop compared to ducklings. My ducklings that are about 2 weeks older still don't have feathers. BUT, they are HUGE!!!
I'd rather big than feathered personally between ducks and chicks

Same. I like my babies to remain babies as long as possible, even if those are BIG babies.

Speaking of ducklings, little Derpy is still doing fine a week after hatch. I think it's brain must be a bit weird too, it keeps thinking the freckles on my spotted duckling's feet are food.

Duck eggs in the incubator are doing well. Have a few internal pips. Some don't have descended air cells yet so are probably Muscovy. I turn them a few times a day still.
