More sad news. The egg that had bruised at the wrong end didn't make it. From the looks of the baby, it probably died soon after. Yolk wasn't even absorbed.

Next two eggs are looking good. Babies alive and moving.

Trying to decide what to replace the Silkie mix eggs with.

No. No more chickens this year since I'm getting my new chicks on the weekend. Except for a few eggs from my blue-egger, because my daughter wants more. But the hen is older and doesn't lay often.

Been trying to incubate those eggs, guessing which they are since they aren't isolated from the other ducks. So far, those I think are from the Aylesbury have been blank.
