I may need an intervention... Did a quick count and have around 50 ducks right now! No wonder my feed bills are through the roof!

Of those, about 10 are mules (Muscovy x Quacker) that will be processed, and five are Calls. I think I currently have I think 9 Quackers (two are for sale, and two are going to freezer camp) although a purebred Magpie drake is supposed to arrive next week, which leaves about 25 Scovies of various ages. I'm hoping to keep only 2 or 3 drakes with only 2 or 3 females each, selling the remaining females and processing the extra drakes.

So, hopefully, going into winter I should only have 6 Quackers and a maximum of 12 Scovies, plus the Calls.

Just checked the bunnies, and something appears to be wrong... Found one dead (which I'm sure was alive earlier) and the others were uncovered and cold. One is completely missing.

I covered them back up and will check on them again later.

Lost two more... Doesn't look like she's feeding them, or cleaning them. Having my daughter pick up milk replacement but she won't be home until around 6 tonight.

Trying to figure out what to do in the meantime.

Oh thats sad! Some moms just don't have that maternal instinct.
