Okay thanks, huge looking eye I'm unfamiliar with doves of any sort (except those that come on my property)

This is another one - think he is a spotted neck dove. He lives free now in my garden after I found him hit by a car last year. He had a broken wing, but it healed really well and he can fly quite well now - enough to get up into the trees and stay away from cats.

Here are some more pics of my diamond doves. They are with button quail - so you can see how small theses doves are.

What a lovely bird - one of my favourite breeds. Like the look of you 'coop', can you post some more pics of it, cus I am making a new coop to house my pigeons and yours looks nice an light and roomy.
