Love the necklace!!Thor laid her first egg today!
Definitely not a BA. I've never heard of Marans being frizzled either. I'm thinking possibly a Cochin. So I bought 4 black australorps and one had funny wing feathers and feet feathers. Is she possibly a maran frizzle? I love her sweet crazy look, but just curious if she is the same breed or something other than she was labeled.View attachment 3117757
I have a frizzle Marans! Ms Frizzle! She’s a Blue Copper Marans and lays dark brown speckled eggsDefinitely not a BA. I've never heard of Marans being frizzled either. I'm thinking possibly a Cochin.
No. We don't have any large fowl frizzles. Only the three bantam ones.Nice! Any frizzled?
I feel like mine is only partially frizzled tooSo I think I have a partial frizzle. Is there such a thing? No idea of breed either, which is weird cause I got him (pretty sure it's a him) from TSC. Speckle was the odd chick out in a batch of ISA browns they received. His feathers curl out from his body right at the ends. I think you can see it in the pictures (~4-6 wks old). All the pics are of him, he is the dark chicken. What do you guys think?
