yeah. idk what terms are acceptable to use here but in the vaguest terms, drakes go inside the duck hen whereas roosters just kinda mash up against the chicken hen. so I'd assume a drake trying to mate a chicken would be highly unfulfilling to the drakes mating drive. unless we are saying he umm makes it inside the chicken hen, in which case I could definitely see it being a big problem.
You can use the word for the body part, for explaining ducks. It's has been done so alot.

Drakes have a very high sex drive. They mate very roughly, which causes reproductive problems for the chicken hens.
