yeah I suspect it is possible but not really something that's going to casually happen in your backyard. I imagine the eggs will need help hatching because peafowl eggs and chicken eggs are very different in size.
 
there was a post on the peafowl forum once of someone claiming they had a hatched a chicken/peafowl cross breed. :lol:
The strange thing is that my mother just sent that thread to me today!

No, it’s not the roughness that messes with chickens, it’s that drakes have a penis and chickens don’t. :oops:
Exactly- I might have quoted the wrong post.
Although I’m sure if a drake just kinda.. humped the chicken gently, nothing bad would happen. But roughly mating with them the same way they mate with duck hens is no good.
