Farm chatter

I approach from behind, and reach down with a hand on each wing and the legs between my middle and ring fingers. Then I sometimes transfer the chicken to rest against my chest, so I have a free hand.
It’s better to hold the chickens with both arms so the chicken feels safer and supported.

I will do whatever you want with her. Hug her for 10 mins a day, make her as human friendly as JOY, anything!
Oo so I can mind control you through the influence of Joy? I honestly don’t know how Joy got so friendly, but she is! It was mainly these last two years. The time I spent with them, and the time I spent holding her and with her, she warmed up to me, I gained her trust, and I became part of her flock!

Yup! Wow, how much time a day do you spend with your flock?

@ChickForLife why don’t you get an EE to, if your looking for friendly birds, they really are something. Opal has loved people her whole life. While she’s not quite as trusting as Joy is, she has an amazing personality and loves people to. As you saw with her bubble adventure the other day, she is a curious girl with lots of love to give. Jellybean is just the same, and she has loved people to. Though not quite as loving as Opal, the pair are very sweet and runner ups to the Speckled Sussex.

Yeah, I appreciate a friendly bird! She sounds lovely! I may add EE to my list to! I have to check if they are already on there though!
