I'd recomend Speckled Sussex. I've read that they blend in because of their coloring. Mine seem to be good foragers. Probably pretty good layers.I am on the market for some new chickens, since we are talking breeds. I want something predator adverse, good at foraging and a good layer. lol.

Wow that's quite the list, I have 3 rhode island reds, I'm pretty partial to them. I somehow lucked out and mine are the type with floppy combs. They're just so sweet, and great layers. Speckled sussex are niceWell...
I have Red Sex Links, Easter Eggers, 1 Buff Orpington, 1 Calico Princess, 1 Silver Laced Wyandottes, Golden Laced Wyandottes, Rhode Island Reds, Sapphire Gems, Salmon Faverolles, and Speckled Suusex.
