the main one is horse or dog fence so definitely coyote proof just not gunna keep out anything smaller around than a playing card.You should have that done anyway

I would buy one if you cant make one. They are far better and safer than heat lamps, and there is no annoying light. I raised mine on a heat lamp the first 3 days (heat plate was a week late!) and when I stopped using it, they had already accustomed to the light. I had to start leaving a nightlight or lamp on for them, and it took nearly two weeks to wean them off it.I could buy one but I also kinda wanna make it. I usually use heat lamps. It’ll hopefully be done before the babies hatch

I use the kind of heat lamps that you use for reptiles. they dont give off any light so they dont mess up their day/night cycle but they do go in a light fixture. and can absolutely burn through plastic. rip plastic feeder it fell on once. no birds were harmed though.I could buy one but I also kinda wanna make it. Heat lamps for reptiles do produce light. Unless you use a ceramic heat emitter bulb.
