Sad news. I found my Big Boy dead in the henhouse with his neck wrung. This wasn't an animal killing, he had no obvious wounds. No sign of a bad rooster fight either.

I'm so sorry. That's HORRIBLE- I can't believe a person would do that.

Gonna breed an attack/guard rooster for the flock next year as security. People aren't gonna be killing my birds without a reason.

WE ARE GOING TO FOSTER A CAT


My grandmother is the one who discovered the cat. He has been at the shelter for over a year, because his leg injury hasn’t healed properly. We decided to foster him so he can get surgery to have his leg amputated. Since our house is a zoo, and have 3 cats, he will be staying at my grandmothers place until his surgery and recovery. We all know we will probably keep him, even if it is just a foster situation right now! I would love to adopt him! I’m so excited to give this little guy a good home, especially a place to be over Christmas. I’m also really excited to help save him. He may be a three legged cat the rest of his life, but it’s a life he wouldn’t have gotten to live if we hadn’t stepped in

Are you 100% sure someone killed it? Sometimes necks go lame after the bird dies. I’m not saying you’re wrong. I guess I’m trying to have a little faith in humanity.
