Hey, everyone! Here are some "clean coop" pics. I cleaned the coop yesterday. It really needed it.

tell me all about your coop! and ages and breeds of chickens! do any have names? do you sell birds/ eggs/ meat?
My coop is the above ground "basement" of my dad's shop. It used to be my grandpa's chicken coop. I think he had either around 200 or 300 birds in it at a time. It's an old mortar and rock walled building. It currently is holding 66 birds, although the whole room is not pen space. My oldest birds are almost 3 years old, and the youngest birds turn 1 in May. I sell eggs. I've never eaten one of my hens. A good few have names, but a portion of the Gold Star pullets don't have names.

why and how do you have so many? do you have roos?

No roos here. I originally got my birds to sell eggs. I started with a dozen pullets. Boy, that number has grown. God has certainly blessed my egg business. I buy chicks from a local hatchery primarily. In fact, I just ordered 25 more yesterday!
