I found a mouse in the chicken feed bag. I should’ve killed it, or let the dogs have it, but it just looked up at me with its adorable little eyes. And it’s whiskers were twitching like it was about to cry . I let it go. It was just too cute

I found a possum in the chicken feed once, it was terrifying


The other day I found a vole in the empty bag that the feed came in after I had poured it into the trashcan
We let that one go, it was very cute

Ngl it's very tempting to go on threads that are like 'my chickens are all running away from their rooster' or any behavior questions and just be like 'yeah they do that sometimes'

I'm in the midst of my refrigerator egg experiment that was discussed in this thread about a month ago. It seems that by the looks of how this hatch is going the "more females hatch from refrigerator eggs" is a wives tale because I have 100% viability in these eggs. Which honestly surprised me as well, lol!
