I’ve done the last. Done one entry on the first, waiting for my second two.

Haven’t done the edible one. Not sure if I will.

also I came here to tell yall a story

Moonflower was on a nest of eggs because she demanded on staying broody & I locked her up in the brooder on her nest & like 3 days before the chicks hatched she was like trying to get out of the brooder, so I was like and let her out thinking she just wanted to run around before lockdown & that she would end up brooding in the nesting box and I'd just put her back on her nest then. Well, she never came back. Still hasnt.
Conveniently I had another broody hen so I candled the eggs and gave her the three that were still viable and she took them & then they hatched and I put mom & the two that hatched into the brooder.
Today I let them out of the brooder so they can be regular chickens & our PEAHEN decided, I guess, that these are her babies and started fighting the chicken hen. I ran the peahen off a couple times and then finally GRABBED her - she was between me and a tree, with the hen on the other side of the tree, so she was distracted and I had the tree to block for me - and she POOPED ON ME and scratched my side with her toes. But I held on and penned her up and now the mom & babies aren't being harassed.
