I love this thread...pretty pictures and a ton of laughs! What more could ya want at the end of the day?

My chores got rained out today. (Yay!!) Actually, I WAS doing chores ...okay, okay, I was really just watching the brand new baby turkeys I brought home this morning get settled into their new digs when I looked up and saw this: Then, I jumped up like a mad woman and started racing around to get the horses, hogs, goats, deer, chickens, ducks, turkeys, cats, and dogs fed before I got drenched. I managed that, and tried to squeeze in some garden harvesting, but I got drenched anyway. The storm hit and literally flooded all my pastures, yard, garden...everything. What a turd floater! It was awesome!! We got 2" of rain in under an hour. Love it. For the longest time I couldn't see the ground anywhere! (I had to steal this shot from a video, so it's not so clear.) I had no idea there was rain in the forecast. I guess a proper farmer would check on these things. Note to self: check the weather forecast everyday with your morning coffee.
