Lucy-Rat is just adorable! It looks like y'all had a great time outside!Well, my little kitten is just the most adventurous little cat ever. lol Today, she told me she wanted to go outside. She insisted. She was going to go without me, so I pulled out Kitty's old harness and put it on little Lucy and we went out. She LOOOVED it! Wasn't bothered by the harness one bit. If anything, she thought it made a good toy. She's a nut.![]()
Time for a little rest. All this investigating is a lot of work!
You'd think she owns the place! lol
Ok..and this is where we need music from Jaws.
Getting closer!!
I could write a book about this cat. It would be called "Adventures of Rat".![]()
Yes, I named her Rat. It's really Lucy, but when she was a tiny little thing, she used to scurry around the rooms and she looked she was so close to the ground and the way her tail moved, she looked like a rat.And the name just sort of stuck. She has no clue who Lucy is.![]()
Oh, she's quite a character.Lucy-Rat is just adorable! It looks like y'all had a great time outside!
Excellent pictures! I love it how people see the world in so many different ways. Those sunflower pictures are my favorite.Got a few garden photos yesterday morning:
Ever seen a tiny little baby watermelon? Cute, huh? lol
On the 'baby' veggies subject, here's a little acorn squash
and some baby zucchini
bigger zucchini...almost ready to pick!
black eyed peas
Purple beans
strawberries
Roma Tomatoes
banana pepper
A variety of passion fruit I have yet to identify
yellow squash
One of the Mammoth Sunflowers I'm growing for seeds. Never saw the bug until I looked at the photo!
Close up of the seeds forming on one of the Mammoth Sunflowers.
And if anyone is interested, here's a small section of my little 'cottage' garden. The raised
beds are soooo much nicer than the traditional row garden I started with years ago. I NEVER
have to spend time weeding these beds. We just added the paving stones last month, so
no more walking in muddy pathways.
Bacon. Ha! Just kidding...these girls are just pets. Dixie and Duck, our not-so-wild hogs.
