Mine kinda do what is in the picture you posted.

Here's my 2 BBB tom's facing the camera here. They reel it up like the one on the right and let it down like the other one there....takes a fraction of a second to let it down then bring it back up if they want. In the mornings they have it down almost the whole time, struttin' around and stuff, then in the mid-day and afternoon have it reeled up. They let it down in a hurry when I get to gobbling at them...

. We have a good time. The snood just falls right down, I've never seen them get long and stick up in the air if that is what you mean...I hope my turkeys aren't unhappy, they seem fine if what they are doing is what you are talking about. .

I don't. I have a dumb phone.....so no turkey ap download capabilities. I have terrible cell signal here. I get a call about once every 3 years if that, so I probably shouldn't even have one....

In my thirst for knowledge, I actually seen a turkey thread where you mentioned it or linked a deal on their noises. A few of you were talking about all the noises poults make and how they sing little songs if I remember right.

....I personally hope I am never without a tom and hens around now! I find them beautiful...even their crazy caruncley heads and snoods! My Bourbon Red tom follows me every where and struts while I chore....it's really neat to me to watch....

. I'm going to add standard bronze when I can....then maybe another breed or two later down the road maybe. My turkeys are goofy funny one minute then all of a sudden majestic as heck another. Very friendly and just great to have around.

They would respond to the calls, and I could get them to run to me from using it whereever they were. There were "Lost hen" calls and "fly down" calls among many others. The lost hen call is how I'd round them up.

I could understand what my turkeys were talking about or how they were feeling because of the ap. Burn a CD and blast it old school on a Ghetto Blaster like the guy in Say Anything.

Good luck with yours! I couldn't believe how friendly mine were. My chicks and ducklings take some time win over it seems, but I was pretty much a roosting tree for all my poults from day 1...

....maybe they have a translation into turkey language version of "In Your Eyes" that I can play while holding a ghetto blaster over my head...lol. That's real neat! I'll look into that! I sent a new little ghetto blaster off the roof while shingling one day on accident and broke it, got another and kinda ruined it while working on a small square baler then purposely sent it off a roof shingling another roof....lol. Dang thing would play static on my favorite songs.....lol. I love having music out there playin!!!!! ....but am without a way to do it.

Finally had my first set of baby bunnies today! I had another doe have 1 big baby today that was dead???...not sure what happened there???...twice the size of these it seemed. ...but so far these are fine! First time mom. She was carryin' hay around and trying to pull fur, but then just spit these out. I hope all goes well.

Can't wait to see pictures of those little critters with fur! Cute!
