Ok, so I didn't die!!
It's just been work work work and more work AND driving to Rhode Island on my day off to work with 4 REALLY nice Arab mares. Someone really needs to add more hours to the day! lol
I adopted a cat. As you can see, she's very cozy already. This is kitty number 5. I still question my sanity at times....but bringing this cat home was the best thing I ever did! lol Lily here and my youngest, Lucy (aka Rat) are getting along really well. They run through the house like a hurricane. It all starts at 5am.

Then I hatched 5 peachicks!! One died.
It was always very weak. But the other 4 are thriving! I have to take some pictures of them. This is the oldest one, a day old. They're almost 2 weeks old now. Cutest things ever! lol

What else... We got a new goat at the farm. I think it's a pygmy goat? She's blind in one eye. Supposedly, she is staying with us for the winter, and the owners will come back for her in the spring to take her back to the camp where this goat was a part of a program for kids. We'll see. I have a feeling that this little girl will be staying with us for good. Either way, she's a very nice little goat. I kidnapped her today and brought her in my yard on my lunch break. LOL

Miss "Ima Big Girl" was very interested in the goat.

And to continue on the "dropped off animals" theme...someone brought this little hen to us today. Apparently someone had dumped this chicken somewhere, whatever that means? The people that found her, brought her home but their chickens kept picking on the poor girl, so she's here now.
So far, she's getting along with my Cochins. Looks like an Araucana, but she doesn't have the ear tufts....so I guess that makes her an easter egger?

Well, that's it for now.
