Lol I am amazed! The only thing that grows here this time of year is pine trees! Nothing will start for another 1-3 months!
No, and their voices are nice, even if they were vocalising a lot, I don't think it would be annoying. It's a pleasant tone and pitch, not the "fingernails on the blackboard" screechy sound that some birds have.
We have one of those poorly behaved parrots here at the farm, he lives in the tack store. The most annoying thing I ever met. He only likes the store manager and will attack anyone and everyone else. He screams all day long, just not a nice guy. :/ But he was also a rescue, and wasn't treated right to begin with. I personally still don't think that the tack store is the right living environment for him.
Where are you located dan26552?Just took that an hour ago
His cage is kept in the office where only staff goes, so our customers are safe from the bird. lol And, the bird is safe from customers, he has his peace. But of course staff goes into the office, and he will bite if you go near him. Luckily, he doesn't seem to realize he can actually fly! lol When he came to us, his wings had been clipped. We let his feathers grow in, but I don't think he has a clue that he could fly if he wanted to. He never leaves his cage or his little "office area" as I like to call it. He has a little nook for his cage, and there's a hole in the wall that was specifically made for him so he can walk through onto the office desk. He has free access in and out of his cage all day long. He either sits on his cage, or he goes on the desk. Sometimes he hangs out in his cage. Tthere's a piece of plexiglass on the desk, so he'll stay on "his side" and can't eat the staff members. LOL In a way, I guess it's a good thing that he doesn't know about his flying abilities, that way he doesn't go charging at people or go explore the tack store.Oh wow that sucksyeah, a lot of rescues it seems are like that. But aw that's kinda bad he attacks people haha like randomly flying at them/attacking or only if you go near him? He doesn't attack customers does he? Seems like a bird like that should be in a nice quiet environment instead of somewhere so busy. They probably think he's lonely and wants attention or something but clearly he hates everyone else so I say he should still get attention, just in a quiet place and only from the people he likes instead of stressing him and all humans out![]()

I don't think this bird has a bad life at all, but I do have a feeling that he would like his own person, I think he would be the happiest that way. I know he's happy in the office because he talks to people and everything. I don't know much about parrots, but I don't really see any obvious signs of stress with him, so that's good. He can just be loud and obnoxious.. Why, I don't know?
My old roommate had 3 parrots, two of them didn't like me one bit, but the third one attached himself to me for God knows what reason. I didn't even want the bird when my roommate first brought him home! lol But he picked me....and he really grew on me, and I actually grew quite fond of him. He was with me most of them time when I was home, I would put him on my shoulder and he just sat there. Or, he would follow me around the house. lol He also picked up on some phrases that I used a lot. I never taught him any words, he just learned things on his own. My favorite was when he learned to say "cool".Because of his attachment to me, I believe parrots thrive with that one special person. If I'm not mistaken, most parrot breeds usually attach themselves to one, maybe two people, and I think that's probably what our tack store parrot, Nicky, is lacking. :/
