Well my grandparents' neighbors have them and they are very loud but I rldont find them annoying. Lol they have 30+ acres of woods so if we have company and they hear it I like to screw around with them and say "No worries it's just Bigfoot" or "Have you met our pterodactyls?" Lol

Hahah is it like screetching or like chicken noises but louder? And hahaha omg
It's sort of like crows cawing. It's like yelling, it's not screechy or unpleasant. I like how they sound (they used to have them running around the Uni I went to)

(ignore the annoying fellow, you can hear the birds at the start)

They have different calls. The most common is a locating and mating call. Loud yes, noisy depends on the circumstances. If you have at least a pair they will be quiet most of the time. So long as they have a friend the remain fairly quiet until breeding season. I have one rooster that crows more often than all 7 of my peafowl calling during breeding season. Which mainly it's the males calling during breeding season but hens will call when I imitate the locating call. Even then it's only a few calls.

Thanks for the info!! That doesn't sound too bad :) and in the video its kind of a weird call but as long as its not all the time all day then its not so bad

Ahhh okay. That makes sense and that's good it's not all the time and only when they're trying to, well, locate the others

You don't have to worry too much about. I kind of like the sound peafowl make so I will imitate it sometimes and it's funny the reactions I get. I need to make a video of it.
