The pictures are fantastic, these are my favorites! And the little drakes are gorgeous! I always wanted Mandarin ducks, but just don't have a place to put them. And now that I'll be moving to New York in about 2 months for a new job, I even have to sell my chickens. Someday I'll have chickens again, and maybe ducks. This job is way worth it and I'm super excited!

It is wonderful to hear you have a job opportunity you are looking forward to, but very sad to hear it means temporarily giving up your flock...

It is wonderful to hear you have a job opportunity you are looking forward to, but very sad to hear it means temporarily giving up your flock...

Yeah...it's very bittersweet, all of it. I really, REALLY love my chickens. And I've finally been able to create two nice flocks that are well worthy of breeding and showing. It took me 3 years to get to this point. Oh well....I guess it wasn't meant to be just yet. And with this new job, there are so many opportunities for me that who knows what future will bring! Some day I'll have my chickens again.
