Yes, I have heard that guinea hens can be somewhat wild, but it is no mind to me. I just want the ticks gone! We found another one this morning, and we haven't even been outside! It must have come in on the cat or dog...

Since I have had chickens and ducks I have had no tick issues. Last year I got a few turkeys and the highlight of my morning when I let them out was to watch them jump up to pick the Japanese Beetles off the rose bush. Once they discovered them they kept the rose clean.Yes, I have heard that guinea hens can be somewhat wild, but it is no mind to me. I just want the ticks gone! Not sure yet if i can get the day off from work to go...but if I CAN I will have:
4 guinea keets - not sure age, but feathered--(can I still sell as long as all 4 are bought together?)
bantam roosters:
millie fleurs (3 or 4)
silver penciled (2)
maybe 1 antwerp d'anvers
golden laced cochin (2 or 3)
possibley barred cochin (1 or 2)
and maybe a black silkie male/female pair....if i can figure out if the roo is indeed a roo.
and MAYBE a sultan hen.....Maybe.
