Never understood why they are called salmon favorelle. Are they related to Easter eggers? They look alike. But nonetheless, she is gorgeous!

II have one Salmon Faverolles chick named Peanut and I love it so far! It is an amazing, curious and funny chick!

Lol, “bottom of the pecking order?” My girl is the alpha! And she is by far the smallest hen in the house - by about four pounds in some cases! Butterfly is very even tempered, but when she gets P.O.ed, watch out! She goes from being my sweetest little snuggle bunny to full-on psycho in 0.2 milliseconds.

She loves to sit on my lap, tolerates my gentle stroking of her feathers, lives for treats, and finds every worm within a fifty yard radius.

With five Brahmas, a Jersey Giant, a BLRW, and a big blue Cochin, not to mention a couple of Easter Eggers and a Speckled Sussex, she’s definitely the tiny bird. And definitely the Queen of the Coop!

Im getting some salmon faverolles in April, can’t wait to show everyone!

I am getting 5 in March. I am hoping my lil sikkie girl will be broody then and she can be a foster mom. She seems to go broody 2 or 3 times every winter but has not had a chance to have babies.

Haha. I only hope that they'll have them this year. I may try my luck with silkie again, but they usually turn out rooosters P

I have three... John Adams, Abigail Adams, and Betsy Ross! I enjoy them, the rooster is handsome and the hens are cute. But I didn't socialize them a lot, so they aren't super friendly. I'll work more with their chicks. But no aggression at all from the rooster, that's something I can't always say for silkies!
