So this is a testament to Faverolles we are in the middle of a huge storm we have about 15 inches of snow on the ground. The faverolles laid 4 eggs today THE MOST THEY HAVE LAID IN A DAY BEFORE !!!!! these girls aren't in a heated indoor coop with 14 hours of light either. They get natural light in an unheated chicken tractor. These are tuff little birds people.

I know they would but the thing I am so amazed by is my birds HAVE NO LIGHT! the LF flock has light but the Faverolles have none and they are still laying amazingly well

Yup she is probably not to far from you. I drove 3 and 1/2 hours to get them. I am really really happy with them!

Out of all my chickens the SF's are the softest and fluffiest. You can actually bury your face in one, LOL. I think one of them thinks I'm the roo, every time she squats, I pick her up and hug her. My rooster ignores the three of them. I guess he has his hands full already.

Thanks Ya I decided he was a better choice for breeding. I just wasn't sure about the splash boy but I am sure he will turn out beautiful
