Those old boys from the south come up this way and show all of the time. You just stay away from certain areas when their birds are judged. LOL

and the MAIN reason I didn't take the invite to get my judges license. I've been all over this country showing and attending shows and I've NEVER seen anything that compares to the south. Judge didn't place your birds like you wanted? Just box those suckers on up 10 hrs before coop out and make sure you try and run over the judge with your boxes full of birds on your way down that isle. There's one breed that is very very prevelant down this way. Gotta love people that think maiming a bird is an ok thang! Let's just cut its comb off. It don't hurt! Yea, ever watch a dubbing? Makes my stomach turn.
I'll try and think of some positives for ya.

I know all too wll what class you are talking about. It can get a little hairy in that aisle. My husband always tells me to stay away when they are judging. You don't know what will go flying a the judges head.

It is so funny to watch a bunch of men follow the judge from one end of the aisle to the other and then back again and again. Sometimes I think you can even see smoke coming out of their ears. LOL

I wish I could show this season I had so much fun in the spring. I can't wait for next years nationals. Take lots of pictures this weekend Leisha and post them here or on Facebook

Leisha, Do you have LF Favs or only Bantam? I find myself with one pullet of good enough quality to keep as a breeder. Sooooo, I suppose I should hatch some Fav eggs this fall so that I will have some pullets ready to lay next Spring. You are quite close, compared to the few other breeders so shipped eggs would be here quickly.
