So are one of the girls in the middle picture coming home with me in October, Leisha? They are really very cute!

Finally was able to take a few pics to share....The first is a few of the babies that i have finally been able to put outdoors. The redish brownish bird is one of the Mahogany chicks.

My favorite bantam is a daughter of the blue boy and girl that i receive from Jeaninehttps://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/uploads/54669_byc_blue_daughter.jpg

HI All, Does anyone know if Rose Isgrigg is still raising Salmon Favarolles of any type? I thought to contact her and have not been able to find any contact information for her.
Thanks in advance, eliz

Obviously Peter's channeling worked because jsut a week aor two later.... POOF....... Here I was!! HAAH!! Im sitting here catching up on all the chatter Ive missed and laughing at some of what has been said but being old conversation it would jsut be moot but had to say that Peter's ESP worked but probably only because I was in tune and one with the chicken universe as I am entering show mode (cue mystical background music here)

Hey all! I'm looking to add faverolles to my list of breeds (it's a short list and I've been shoping for a while!)

I really like the color pattern of the salmon faverolles. I also like the stout body and the dual purpose of the breed.

What I'm looking for is a breeder who has good quality birds in LF that have SQ potential. If I can find it from a hatchery or a private breeder, I'm not particular. I am just looking for good stock.

I've been reading whatever articles I can find on line but most of the initial searches just find the same snipit of info from site to site. I'm also finding good pictures hard to come by. I'm a visual person. I'f I know what it's supposed to look like, then I'm better at picking the right thing!

Anyway, I'll keep plowing through this thread, but any help would be greatly appreciated!
