In regards to my question the other day......

Here is the girl with the darker colored chest, but not really "smutty"

her color compared to the other girls

Here is the smutty bearded girl..... doesn't that sound like a dirty circus show! ehehheeh

And here is just some pretty beards and chests!...... These are some of my pullets hatched. This is my first year to have hatched. Parent stock from Leisha Comer. Most of these girls are hatched since January.

now that i go back through some of my older pics with Charlie and Chloe i found some pics of the LF fav boys i had. one of them had the red coloring along his back and tail which you should be able to see in the pic is the boy behind the buff brahma. these boys came from someone i found on ebay that still lists them every now and then. i think her name was Julie or Judy something. they were always skittish with me but they were very good looking and had good toes.

What can I say....Out of the well over 800+ I've watched over the past 2 decades some of them certainly have and some I have currently do look like that. It's the main reason I don't cull on color until a much later age.

I agree Peter, I just looked at all my cockerels and right now I don't like any of them

Thanks! Yeah I had not noticed that until I posted the pics. Crazy how there is so many things to remember to look at and keep straight, then decide what is more important (or less important) since there aren't any "perfect". Guess it's about time to get out Peter's info/grading sheet!
