Faverolles Thread

What about the light ones with the bluish silvery on their heads?

Those will be salmon. It's not uncommon I have one hatch with a grey spot on the head or racing stripes on the back.

I have hatched LF Faverolles before but they were always light yellow some having a bit darker marks on them, but never a light silvery color like this one. TY! I hear chirps in the guest bathroom. Better go see what they need :)

Where did you get the eggs?

Lower case is recessive, upper case is dominant. So if you bred 2 chipmunk colored together, the e+ would show visually, Which is referred to as "duckwing". The hackle color will be present in the wing tips and the "body" of the wing will be the same color as the body of the bird.

e+: chipmunk pattern
eb: helmet pattern
eWh: little pattern (overall yellowish)
ER: overall dark pattern, dark legs.
E: penguin pattern
