The incubator is peeping. Dick these are the eggs you sent me. 15 were fertile, now we will just wait and see how the hatch. Last hatch until the fall.
Good luck. The British salmons and a few more BBS eggs are due tomorrow.

Wasn't David going to work on those too?
Yes I am. I am waiting until the fall though, to do my first crosses and see what develops. I am waiting because my hatch rates have been horrible right now. I sat 520 eggs a few weeks back and they are due to hatch tomorrow and only about 100 are fertile all the way to the end. We'll see how many actually hatch.
Peter, do you know what happened to Jim Pollard's cuckoo bantams?
Alright. I know someone can tell me what I've got. I had my mind made up but then the last several days this lil thing has made several changes so now I'm confused. Too much dark and black to be girl? Or too much red/salmon to be boy? This is my one and only chick that made it from the eggs I got from mariemartin.
The following is a spot feathering out on the side of its neck/shoulder
This is my first so Ive no idea what is normal. I just wasn't expecting so much dark on a female, and color just seems wrong for a male. That comb is awfully red though? This is an almost 4 week old chick. Thanks!
ok, i finally got pics of the cuckoo marans/faverolles cross i'm thinking of working with. i've named her Collette and she has been a sweet little cuddly ball of feathers. right now she's been trying to cozy up to my neck while on my shoulder. she likes the dog and i've noticed she likes to follow him around the room every now and then. (Ein doesn't usually make chicken friends so easily
